#KnowMyStory Series: Loving the skin, I’m in!

Skincare Journey Ep. 2: Loving My Skin, Loving Myself

I have to be honest—the road to truly loving myself and accepting my skin hasn’t been as easy as I thought. If you read the first episode, you know I’ve done a lot: living healthier, being consistent with my skincare, and committing to a daily sunscreen. It was tough, but every step has been worth it.

Even with all my efforts, there were moments when I still felt frustrated with my skin. Bad skin days were the hardest—rough, dry patches despite using the right products. Sometimes I even questioned if my routine was really working for me.

Then came the challenge of products losing effectiveness. I never imagined I’d need to experiment and invest in new ones, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Trying new products helped me discover what truly works for my skin.

And of course, losing most of my skincare after a family outing was stressful! Not only were replacements costly, some products were sold out or hard to find. Still, it reminded me why consistency matters and reinforced my commitment to my routine.

You may wonder why I’m so invested. Simply put: loving my skin means loving myself.

That doesn’t mean bad skin equals low confidence—but for me, caring for my skin brings freedom, pride, and self-love.

  • Freedom: I can go out without worrying about sweat or itchy skin. Confidence in my skin lets me move freely.
  • Self-Achievement: When my skin glows, it reflects my discipline, consistency, and commitment to investing in myself.
  • Self-Love: Loving my skin means appreciating myself, flaws and all. “Perfectly imperfect” is my mantra.

Achieving my skin goals took patience—but the GWTG Sun Stick made it faster and easier. With SPF 50++ protection, a moisturizing, cooling essence, and ingredients that visibly reduce blemishes in weeks, it’s become my go-to product.

If you want glowing, healthy skin, the GWTG Sun Stick is my top recommendation. Take it from me—it’s more than skincare; it’s self-love in a stick.
